About the Association
The Flower Class Corvette Association was formed in May 1981 as a result of our former President, Cyril Stephens (Stevo to us) placing an enquiry in the Navy News, for any crewmen of HMS Orchis to get in touch with him. Not only did he have a response to this enquiry, but also from ex-crewmen from other Corvettes.
The first reunion was held at the RNA Club, Royal Leamington Spa with 36 ex-crewmen attending. Today the Association has a membership of 735 full members worldwide and 381 Associate Members.

A reunion is held each year in May and a Sea Sunday Service is held every September, details of which are circulated to every member in a regular newsletter.
The Association has it's own Standard which is held for safe custody in All Hallows Church, South Cerney when not required for parades etc. The Association also has it's own march 'The Corvetteer' composed by RM Musician Dennison of the Royal Marine School of Music.

Full Membership of the Association is open to all who served in the Flower Class Corvettes, Associate Membership
is open to relatives of Full Members whether they are still Members or have 'Crossed the Bar'.
